The Philadelphia Tribune had an article last week about how funeral homes are finding new ways to care for families and their staffs.
Mike Hamlar, president of Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory in Roanoke, VA, mentioned how funeral professionals have to both have contact with people who died from COVID-19 and with their families, who may also be infected.
“It’s a factor during the removal process and also when holding services,” he asserted.
